Most travellers can enter Indonesia on the B1 Visa on Arrival, which is the visa we apply for here. Some nationalities cannot use it and need a visa that is granted before they travel.
If you hold a passport from one of the countries below, you are not eligible for the B1 Visa on Arrival. You need a C1 single-entry visit visa, which has to be applied for and granted before you travel. You apply for it yourself on the official Indonesian immigration portal at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. We do not process C1 visas.
If your nationality is not in the list above and the application form still says the Visa on Arrival is unavailable, you need a visa that is granted before you travel, but we cannot tell you which one. Check with your nearest Indonesian embassy or consulate before you book your trip.
The Indonesia Arrival Card is a separate registration that every traveller has to complete. It is not a visa and does not give you permission to enter Indonesia. Whichever visa your nationality needs, you still have to arrange it.
